Deutsch Activ was established in Pune, with the vision ‘Freude an dem Studium’, meaning, ‘Eternal Joy in Learning’ by Uma Apte. Pune has a rich educational heritage, often called as Oxford of the East. The students in the city have been learning German, since 1914. In the same place, Deutsch Activ had a humble start and several students started joining the institute.
The A1 course introduces you to the German language. This being your first time learning a foreign language, the method of teaching is primarily activity-based learning. With these activities, one gets the first-hand experience of handling the language and its various nuances.
The A2 course is your second step into becoming more familiar with the language. Here, you get introduced to the structures of the language. Forming a compound sentence, experimenting with conjunctions and prepositions, and talking about your favourite hobby, are a few things that you learn along the way.
The B1 course is all about application. Now that your grammar fundamentals are clear, it is time to apply them into conversations and emails. In this course, you also learn professional communication and presentation. The medium of instruction is a combination of English, Marathi & German.
B2: (Further Divided into B2.1 & B2.2)
The B2 course is your first step towards becoming a #GermanExpert. In this course, you explore the language through texts, documents, listening exercises, surveys, workshops, and even debates. Post completion of the B2 level, you can also aspire to be a translator or interpreter and use German professionally.
